Barker Joinery is a family business, run by Simon Barker.
Simon Barker started out as an apprentice bench hand joiner in 1985. He has since gained experience in all aspects of joinery working in several York based firms, before setting up Barker Joinery in
2005. He can undertake all areas of joinery work, from small jobs such as hanging a single door, to renovating your entire house. Simon can take on larger jobs by employing quality tradesmen,
with whom he has a long standing working relationship.
We have a good relationship with many builders merchants and kitchen suppliers and can negotiate the best prices for
materials to save our customers money wherever possible.
Because the business is run from home, Barker Joinery does not have expensive overheads and so can offer a competitive price, whilst never compromising on the quality.
Barker Joinery is fully insured and all joiners are City and Guilds qualified.
The lead time from your original enquiry to getting the work done is usually around 4 weeks, so if you require any work, especially kitchens, please contact us as soon as possible, so that Simon can
visit to give you a free quote.
